4. Pluralism & Epistemic Respect iLEAD recognizes immersive learning as an interdisciplinary and intercultural field. The Codex therefore supports epistemic pluralism, including: scientific and empirical research traditions, design-based and practice-based inquiry, Indigenous and community-rooted ways of knowing, and artistic, narrative, and experiential forms of evidence. Pluralism does not imply equivalence. Claims are examined according to declared standards, methods, and contexts, rather than through a single universal lens.
