# Wistia: Video Hosting

The Wistia video hosting service can be used to host videos that we don't want to put on YouTube.

## Basic Information

<table border="1" id="bkmrk-company-name-fastcom" style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%; height: 165.766px;"><colgroup><col style="width: 16.4538%;"></col><col style="width: 83.5462%;"></col></colgroup><tbody><tr style="height: 29.7969px;"><td style="height: 29.7969px;">Company Name</td><td style="height: 29.7969px;">Wistia</td></tr><tr style="height: 35.3906px;"><td style="height: 35.3906px;">Company Website</td><td style="height: 35.3906px;">[https://wistia.com/](https://wistia.com/)

</td></tr><tr style="height: 29.7969px;"><td style="height: 29.7969px;">Plan</td><td style="height: 29.7969px;">Free Plan (5 videos)</td></tr><tr style="height: 35.3906px;"><td style="height: 35.3906px;">Account Owner</td><td style="height: 35.3906px;">[Jonathon Richter](mailto:jonathon@immersivelrn.org "Jonathon Richter")</td></tr><tr style="height: 35.3906px;"><td style="height: 35.3906px;">Administrator(s)</td><td style="height: 35.3906px;">[Michael Hamaoka](mailto:michael@immersivelrn.org "Michael Hamaoka")</td></tr></tbody></table>

Although we are currently using a free plan, it can be upgraded as needed. For example, we upgraded to a paid plan temporarilyt to host recordings of Kristin Torrence's **Getting Started with Instructional Design for Virtual Reality** workshop. We have also used Wistia to host some videos for the conference.
