iLRN_Central is a 300-person capacity Frame as the primary gathering place of the iLRN2026 Virtual Campus, designed as a digital Greek Agora—the traditional civic space where scholars, citizens, and travelers meet to exchange ideas.

From this central harbor, participants can navigate the campus, attend keynote gatherings, and explore the conference’s Special Track suites, represented by the research vessels anchored in the harbor.

Within the Frame VR environment, iLRN_Central functions as:

  • The Welcome Center for conference participants

  • The central event venue for major gatherings and announcements

  • The gateway to Special Track research communities

  • A meeting place for informal conversations and scholarly exchange

Participants arriving in the virtual campus will often begin their journey here.

Main Activities in iLRN_Central

Conference Gatherings

The Agora hosts a number of shared events including:

  • Opening and closing moments of the conference

  • Cross-track discussions and featured conversations

  • Informal meet-ups and community dialogue


Orientation and Navigation

Visitors can use the Agora kiosks to:

  • Navigate the Knowledge Tree campus

  • Access the conference schedule

  • Enter Special Track spaces

  • Discover the Innovation Gardens and Design Guild


Special Track Harbor

Seven research vessels in the harbor represent the Special Tracks of iLRN2026.

Each vessel leads to a dedicated suite where that community hosts presentations, conversations, and collaborations.
