Volunteer Information

After the update of Invision Community from version 4 to 5, it is important for us to review the site, locate any pages where the update has caused problems, and fix them as soon as possible. We would like to request volunteers from within iLRN to help with this process.

How to Volunteer

If you would like to help with this project, please follow these steps.

1. Contact michael@immersivelrn.org to volunteer for the website update project and request an immersivelrn.org email address if you do not have one. Only people with an immersivelrn.org email address are allowed to edit the iLRN Codex.
2. Using your immersivelrn.org email address, create a new account on the iLRN website at https://www.immersivelrn.org.
   
3. You will be added to an email group for the website update team. You may send messages to this group to ask questions or alert others about errors.

Volunteer Expectations

There will be a list of website pages in the task list. Volunteers should select a page to review, look for issues, and report back with any errors they find. Pages should be reviewed for the following items:

• Formatting issues
• Missing images
• Invalid links
• Outdated information

Of course it is also appreciated if you find errors in spelling or grammar.

As issues are found, they will be prioritized and fixed. If you have some experience editing web pages and would like to help with fixing problems, please let us know so that we can train you on the moderator functions of the Invision Commuinty website.
