Volunteer Position: Webinar Presenter / Host for iLRN

Location: Remote

Commitment: (Flexible/Varied) 5 hrs

About iLRN:

iLRN is a dynamic non-profit organization serving the immersive learning professional community through innovative programming, networking opportunities, and events. We are expanding our reach and need resourceful Event Host volunteers to make this possible.

Position Overview:

iLRN is seeking a Webinar Host to contribute to our mission of promoting specialized immersive learning and educational technology. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the intersection of technology and education, ready to facilitate engaging and informative online events.s.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-event Preparation:

Create and organize the event agenda and content.
Conduct technology checks to ensure a smooth online experience for participants.
Create a welcoming and inclusive virtual environment.

Event Facilitation:

Host and moderate webinars on a topic specific to your talents and skills, ensuring a smooth and interactive experience for participants.
Work with the assisting host to foster engaging discussions.
Utilize immersive learning tools to enhance the educational experience.

Audience Engagement:

Foster a participatory environment, encouraging questions and discussions.
Incorporate interactive elements such as polls, quizzes, and breakout sessions to enhance learning.

Technical Support:

Troubleshoot technical issues that participants may encounter during the event.
Collaborate with the technical team to resolve any platform-related challenges promptly.

Post-event Responsibilities:

Gather feedback from participants and report insights to the organizing team.
Debrief with the organizing team to discuss the event's successes and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
